No vaccines are required other than to have the vaccines needed for Elementary and Middle Schools.
Inform the Health Center of any pre-existing and new health conditions.
Inform the Health Center when your child has a contagious condition.
Notify the Health Center of any medication your child must take during school hours.
In the best interest of the community’s wellness, please keep your children at home if they have the following symptoms:
Fever 37.8 Centigrade (100 F) or greater
Fever within the last 24 hours
Frequent and/or hard coughing
The flu or a bad cold
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Head lice or nits
Unidentified rash
Any other symptoms that may be contagious
As part of the Wellness Program, the Health Center's responsibilities include:
Keeping parents informed on the latest medical and health concerns and following up with parents on a case-by-case basis
Regular screening of students to ensure student's good health and well being
Providing First Aid and CPR training to staff, students, and parents
Bringing doctors to campus to provide medical support and vaccinations
Checking on the quality of the food that is offered in the cafeteria to make sure it is aligned with the school's nutritional goals
Preparing first aid boxes with EpiPens for school trips and activities
Organizing Wellness Fairs to educate the community on good health and to connect families with local health practitioners
